How to cancel Microsoft 365

- Go to account.microsoft.com/services and log in
- Find your Microsoft 365 plan under subscriptions
- Select Manage, then Cancel subscription
- Within 7 days you'll get an immediate refund; after that, auto-renewal is simply turned off
Refund policy
A prorated refund applies if you cancel within 7 days of signup or renewal. After that, cancelling just turns off auto-renewal — you keep access for the period already paid, then billing stops.

Before you cancel
Editing features in Word, Excel, etc. and extra OneDrive cloud storage end — files may become read-only if you go over the free storage limit.
If you registered a code purchased through a third-party retailer like Costco, the refund process may differ from the standard Microsoft account flow — confirm which channel you signed up through first.
